Restroom Trailer

A restroom trailer is a towable bathroom. Porcelain toilets, running water, vanity sinks, mirrors, lighting, heat and air conditioning. Guests walk up steps into a finished room. In a Texas August, the air conditioning alone is the entire argument.

Stall count is the main pricing lever and the main planning decision. As a rough guide, a two-stall handles up to about a hundred guests for a few hours, a four-stall gets you to roughly two hundred, and an eight-stall covers four hundred or so. Longer events and open bars push those numbers down, sometimes hard.

The two site requirements that kill trailer bookings late are power and level ground. A trailer wants a standard dedicated circuit within reach — many venues have one, many Hill Country properties do not, and the answer there is a quiet inverter generator, which the supplier should quote alongside the trailer. Level matters because the fixtures drain by gravity. A pad that looks flat by eye can be several inches out over the length of a trailer.

The third thing to confirm is the tow path. A ten-stall trailer is a serious vehicle. Narrow ranch gates, low oak limbs on a Dripping Springs driveway, and soft ground after rain are the three reasons a trailer gets turned around at the property line. Send the supplier photos or a pin of the actual access route before the day, not the venue's front gate.

For long-term use — a construction office, a school portable, a facility with a bathroom out of service — trailers rent monthly at a meaningful discount to event pricing. If your need runs past about three weeks, ask for the monthly rate specifically. Nobody volunteers it.
