What we collect

When you submit a quote request we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, phone number, optional company name, and the details of the rental — unit type, quantity, duration, dates, location and any notes you add. We also record the page the request came from, the time it was submitted and the IP address it came from, which we use to prevent abuse of the form.

If you enter a valid email address and then leave the form before finishing, that partial request may still be recorded and sent to us. If you would prefer we not keep it, email us and we will delete it.

How we use it

We share your request with portable sanitation suppliers who serve your area so they can send you a quote. That is the purpose of the service. Suppliers receive the details necessary to price and fulfil the job, including your contact information so they can respond to you.

We may contact you about your request, including to clarify details or follow up on whether you received quotes.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information to data brokers, advertisers or any party unrelated to fulfilling your quote request. We do not add you to unrelated marketing lists.

Analytics and advertising technology

This site uses standard web analytics and a Meta advertising pixel to understand how people find and use the site. These tools may set cookies and collect device and browsing information. You can limit this through your browser settings and through the ad preference controls offered by the platforms themselves.

Suppliers

Once a supplier receives your request, their own privacy practices govern how they handle your information. We are not responsible for how a supplier uses information after it is shared with them, though we do stop sending requests to suppliers who misuse it.

Retention and deletion

We keep quote requests for as long as needed to operate the service and resolve any issues arising from them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing hello@getashitter.com, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Children

This site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
