About

Yes, that's
really the name.

Renting a portable restroom in Central Texas is a genuinely annoying process. You find five companies, you call each one, you explain the same job five times, and then you wait to see which three call back. The quotes that do arrive are not comparable, because one includes weekly service and one does not, and nobody mentions the delivery charge until the invoice.

Get A Shitter exists to collapse that into one step. You describe the job once. We put it in front of suppliers who actually run routes near your site. Their quotes come back to you, and you decide.

What we are not

We are not a portable sanitation company. We do not own units, we do not have trucks, and we do not service anything. Plenty of sites in this category blur that line. We would rather be direct: we are a referral marketplace, your rental agreement is with the supplier you choose, and we make money when a supplier receives a qualified request — not by marking up your rental.

Why the content is the way it is

Every price on this site is labelled as a market range, because that is what it is. We do not publish customer review scores, because we do not have verified review data and inventing it would be worse than having none. We do not claim a supplier count, because the number varies by city and equipment type and a fixed figure would be a number we could not stand behind.

What we do publish is the operational detail that actually decides whether a rental goes well: capacity tables, service intervals, access requirements, the OSHA and accessibility standards, and the four charges that are usually missing from the number you got on the phone. If that content helps you rent well without ever submitting a request through us, that is a fine outcome.

Central Texas only

The Austin metro, the I-35 corridor from Bell County to Guadalupe County, the Hill Country west to Gillespie and Llano, and the farm and ranch counties east. That footprint is deliberate. Portable sanitation is a drive-time business, and a marketplace that pretends to cover everywhere ends up covering nowhere well.

Suppliers

If you run a portable sanitation company in Central Texas and want to receive requests, get in touch. We are interested in operators with their own fleet, real service routes and the ability to answer a quote the same business day.
